April through October) MANHATTAN VA COOLING TOWERS SCHEDULED TO BE OPERATIONAL MAY 2024 The design basis for the new cooling towers will be Delta Cooling Tower, Inc. The towers will be sized with a water temperature delta of 10 degrees (85°F leaving water temperature/95°F entering water temperature).

There will be two assemblies each containing five cooling towers. Each cooling tower will contain two cells. Each cell will have its own fan. The tenth cooling tower cell is used for redundancy. Each cell has a 10 hp fan and 108 gpm water flow rate. The dimensions of the 5-cell assembly is approximately 5 -10 wide x 16 ½ long x 15 -3/4 hi ST ALBANS BOILER SUMMARY There are four Keeler Boilers rated at 41.7 MMBTU/hr. capacity. One is undergoing replacement/upgrade to a newer boiler of similar capacity.
