UPDATE 12/12/2023 - Please see the attached solicitation and supporting documentation This notice is for Solicitation Number 36C24224B0005, Project Number 620-23-221 Building 14 Main and Emergency Electrical and Hot Water Systems Upgrade at the VA Hudson Valley Health Care System, Montrose Campus, 2094 Albany Post Road, Montrose, New York 10548. This shall be a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. As a result, all SDVOSB's may submit a bid, which will be considered by the agency.

This project is classified under NAICS Code 236220 and has a size standard of $45 Million. The Magnitude of Construction for this project is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00.

Scope of Work: The scope of work shall generally consist of, but not limited to the following:

Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish labor and materials and perform work for Renovate Building 14 Main and Emergency Electrical, Hot Water System Upgrade as required by drawings and specifications. This project includes the addition of 2 stair towers, as well as infrastructure and equipment upgrades on the site, basement and ground floor.

The work will require the addition of a stair tower at the West end of both Area A and Area C wings. These stair towers connect three floors, extending from exterior grade (below ground floor) to the first and second floors. The work will also require minor reconstruction where the stairs tie into the existing building. The hot water system, electrical system, and storm sewer infrastructure serving the building will also be upgraded per the drawings.

The ground floor will remain in its current function as office space and will be occupied during the full duration of construction. The first and second floors will remain 90% unoccupied during the duration of construction. All work associated with the renovation of Building 14 ABCD to accommodate this program will be considered part of the contractor's scope of work.

The contractor shall complete mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work on the site and in the basement with minor work on the ground floor, the first floor (AB) and the second floor (CD) as part of this contract.

Project Completion: 365 Calendar Days from Notice to Proceed (NTP). All other details and information shall be contained in the solicitation which shall be posted on www.sam.gov. The solicitation will be released on or about December 12, 2023. The response submittal address, date and time will be included in the solicitation. This project requires bonding and all responses/submissions to the solicitation to be posted later shall be in hardcopies. Faxed or e-mailed bids will not be accepted.

All prospective bidders must be currently registered in www.sam.gov , www.dnb.com (Duns and Bradstreet)and be registered and verified as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) in www.veterans.certify.sba.gov at the time of offer submission and before award of this procurement.
