Description This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products and commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6, Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Products and Commercial Services, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued.
This solicitation is issued as an RFQ. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2024-07 This solicitation is set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 238220, with a small business size standard of $19M. The PSC is J046.
The VA Connecticut Healthcare Systems (VACHS), West Haven Campus (950 Campbell Ave, West Haven, CT 06516), requires water chemical treatment for its Cogen absorber cooling tower. Qualifications In addition to meeting the requirements of the SOW, all quoters must demonstrate the following qualifications Contractor shall have personnel experienced with chemical treatment requirements for a Marley, PN: NC8412RCN3CGF, cooling tower. Contractor shall have staff located within 200 miles of West Haven Campus. Contractor shall have knowledge of Cogen absorber cooling tower water supply make-up, and particulates.
