Mattress Replacement - Progressa

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE IAW (in accordance with) VAAR 819.7008, The Department of Veterans Affairs, White River Junction Healthcare System intends to award a firm-fixed, sole source contract for Progressa Surf replacement ICU mattresses for the Progessa ICU beds currently installed at the White River Junction facility to Hill Rom, the sole manufacturer.

Response Due Date: December 2, 2024 by 5:00 pm (EST)

General Information: Contractor shall the following:

CLIN Description Qty 0001 Progressa Surf FP-PMMS-DT-US 1 0002 Progressa Surf T-SP-DT-US 7 Type of Contract: Firm-Fixed Price Contract. The proposed procurement is for supplies for which the Government intends to award to only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1).

All responsible sources that feel they should be considered qualified to provide the above-mentioned supplies may submit a response to this notice (by the response due date shown above) to kim.mccarthy@va.gov. The information provided shall include detailed (and relevant) documentation to allow the government to perform adequate market research and make a proper determination.

A determination by the government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct an unrestricted open market procurement. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. REQUESTS FOR A SOLICITATION WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE.
