Intent to Sole Source The VISN 1 Network Consolidated Laboratory (NCL) and the Boston Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Boston, MA intends to award a Sole Source firm-fixed price 5-Year BPA for the Microbiology media and supplies for all VISN 1 Microbiology Lab Departments from Cardinal Healthcare. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted.

However, any vendor that believes it can meet these requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer by 25 October 2024 4:30pm (EST). Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail, to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, Network Contracting Office 1 will proceed with the sole source negotiation with Cardinal Healthcare as noted herein.

Costs associated with the preparation and submission of information and/or any follow-up information requests are the responsibility of the vendor and these costs will not be reimbursed by the Government.
