Any questions related to this notice can be sent to pearl.wray@va.gov PROJECT TITLE: STRYKER NEPTUNE 3 ROVER, AND NEPTUNE 2 DOCKER ANNUAL MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT PURPOSE: The purpose of this Intent to Sole Source notice is to publish the VA’s intent to issue a Sole Source Procurement to the OEM Provider, Stryker Instruments. The intended Procurement will be a Firm Fixed Fee Procurement, for a Base Year plus Four Option Years. Work will take place at the VA Boston Health Care Center, 150 S. Huntington Ave, Boston MA 02130-4817.

WORK DESCRIPTION: Services under the intended procurement is to obtain Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) certified technicians for maintenance, repair, service, and support of four Neptune 3 Rovers: (aspirators, and smoke collection devices), and one Neptune 2 Docker, (separate docking devices) a self-cleaning dock device.

NAICS: The intended North American Classification System Code (NAICS) is 811210 Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance, size standard $34.0 PSC: The intended Product or Service Code (PSC) is 6515 Medical and Surgical Instruments, Equipment, and Supplies AUTHORITY: The authority for applying the Simplified Acquisition Procedures for Commercial Items of FAR 13.5 is 41 U.S.C. 1901. This statute is implemented for restricted competition on this procurement via FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B).

A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed award upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR OFFERS. NO SOLICITATION PACKAGE IS AVAILABLE AND TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL NOT BE HONORED. NO SOLICITATION WILL BE POSTED TO CONTRACT OPPORTUNITIES.
