Central Chiller Plant Study

The VA Medical Center (VAMC) located at Providence, RI has a requirement to obtain professional Architect/Engineer (A/E) Investigation Services to prepare a Conceptual Study Report. The resultant report will enables the VA to construct and install a central turn-key chiller plant for the VA Providence RI medical center.

The general statement of work for this project will include Professional Services to perform a detailed, comprehensive, all-inclusive study that considers all factors affecting the construction and installation of a turn-key central chiller plant for a large, in-patient hospital - including but not limited to a re-evaluation and recommendation of chiller/cooling tower combinations, site surveys and investigations, geotechnical studies, and electrical power evaluation of available and future electrical power. No design or construction period services are included in this procurement. Refer to the attached Statement of Work for complete details of investigation services.
