The authority for this action is FAR 13.106-1(b)(2): Only one Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The determination to conduct a competitive procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer. Warranty for Inters on Simple Series Ultrasound Probe System Introduction: The Department of Veterans Affairs Togus Maine Hospital intends to procure a warranty for the Inters on Simple Series Ultrasound Probe System exclusively for use with the Arrow VPS Rhythm DLX Device.

Scope of Work: The successful Offeror shall provide a comprehensive warranty for the Equipment, including repair and replacement services, for a period of 48 months from the date of delivery of the Equipment. The warranty shall cover all defects in materials and workmanship, including any defects or malfunctions caused by normal use and maintenance of the Equipment.

Deliverables: The successful Offeror shall deliver the following:

A comprehensive warranty document outlining the terms and conditions of the warranty. A list of contact information for technical support and assistance. A list of spare parts and their availability.

Evaluation Criteria: Offers will be evaluated based on the following criteria: Technical capability to provide comprehensive repair and replacement services. Ability to maintain a spare parts inventory and provide timely repairs and replacements. Quality of documentation and training provided.

Period of Performance: The period of performance for this contract shall begin from the date of award.
