Siemens Services Contract

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO 01) located in Brockton, MA intends to issue a Task Order, pursuant to the authority of FAR 8.405- 6(a)(1)(B) – Only one source is capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the services are unique or highly specialized with Siemens Industry, Inc. Siemens Industry, Inc is the only vendor capable of providing the required services due to the proprietary features of the control system at the VA Boston Healthcare System.

The contractor shall provide full maintenance service coverage to maintain all existing Siemens Building Automation Controls on Brockton Campus, VHA BHS Medical Center located at 940 Belmont Street, Brockton, MA 02301 in the following:

Building Automation System Services Summary: Emergency online/phone response (within 4 hours), Emergency onsite response (within 4 hours), Data Protection, Preventative Maintenance, Software Maintenance, Network Maintenance, Operator Coaching, Software Updates and Firmware Updates.
