NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE This is a Notice of Intent to Sole Source announcement only. This is not a request for formal proposals or quotes. Any responses to this announcement will be treated as information only. The purpose of this notice is to provide information based on this requirement.

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Office of Procurement, Acquisition, and Logistics (OPAL) Strategic Acquisition Center (SAC), intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price sole source award to SDV Medical, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), 34 Redmond Dr Unit C, Fletcher, NC 28732 for the purchase of the Telemanipulation Robotic Surgical System. This sole source award to SDV Medical is in accordance with 41 U.S.C.

3304(a)(1) as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 6.302-1 entitled, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements . This is not a request for competitive offers, quotes, or capability statements. No solicitation will be posted as a result of this notice. This Special Notice is being issued for information purposes only. The formal Justification & Approval for this action shall be posted on this site in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1 within 14 days after final award.
