Q&A 07.24.2024 Q1) Will the government please clarify if there is an incumbent providing service on this contract or is this level of effort a new need? A1) It has been performed in house or through volunteers in the past, not contracted. Q2) If there is an incumbent, can the government please provide the most recent contract award number & contract value? A2) See above answer Q3) Can you provide the composition of the different seeding mixes? A3) See attachment Q4) What is in each mix?

A4) A variety of species dependent on soil type. Q5) An approximation of the amounts in each mix, including the amount of rice hulls to be added to each mix? A5) 3-8 pounds of seed, 5 pounds of rice hulls per acre is the general estimate. Q6) It was stated that some of the seed was being collected. Will that seed be cleaned prior to seeding? A6) Yes, all seed provided will be cleaned. Q7) If the ground is too soft and in danger of rutting, then can drone application of the seed be utilized?

A7) Yes, Drones can be used for the entire project. Q8) Is the seed mix all in bags or in a bulk container? A8) Bulk seed storage containers which are made of a wax cardboard roughly 30 gallon cylinder shaped.
