Notice of Intent to Sole Source to CAPITAL ECONOMICS (N.A.) LIMITED

The Department of Energy, Energy Information Administration (EIA), intends to issue a Firm- Fixed Price (FFP) Sole Source award utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures for Certain Commercial Products to Bloomberg Finance L.P. for CAPITAL ECONOMICS (N.A.) LIMITED. This requirement is to procure Short-Term Energy Outlook (STEO), Annual Energy Outlook (AEO) and International Energy Outlook (IEO), from Capital Economics (N.A.) Limited.

The anticipated period of performance will be a one (1) year Base Period and four (4) optional one-year periods. This notice of intent is for information purposes only. All sources eligible to meet this requirement must respond in writing. Responses must be supported with strong and convincing evidence that clearly articulate the company’s ability to satisfy this requirement as outlined above. A request for documentation will not be considered as an affirmative response.

If no responses that demonstrate comparable capability are received within fifteen (15) calendar days after publication of this notice, then a sole source acquisition award will be made.
