The purpose of this sources sought notice is to determine if there are commercially available and interested suppliers capable of performing the services pertaining to the following and as detailed in the provided attachment(s) Security Controller Receiver Manufacturer - Digital Monitoring Products Product - SCS-1R Panic Switch (Duress) Manufacturer - Magnasphere Product - MK-3045T Structural Interior Design Finishes Manufacturer: Multiple; See Attachment "P7889 SID Spreadsheet" Product: Multiple; See Attachment "P7889 SID Spreadsheet" Notification of Brand Name or Equal Items.

In accordance with Section 888(a) of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year 2017 (FY17) (Public Law 114-328) as implemented by Defense Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) 206.302-1(c)(2), the justification and approval (J&A) addressed in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.303 is required in order to use brand name or equal descriptions in the solicitation for N4008525R2500.

This justification and approval is being prepared for the use of a brand name or equal descriptions on items in the firm fixed price (FFP) construction contract for Design-Bid-Build (DBB) P-7889 DENTAL CLINIC REPLACEMENT, MARINE CORPS RECRUIT DEPOT PARRIS ISLAND, SC The plans and specifications indicate the standard of quality, characteristics, and performance requirements and a manufacture and model, as appropriate and in accordance with the FAR, to establish the basis of design for approximately 64 items across all design disciplines.

For these brand name or equal described items, other manufacturers may be utilized during construction so long as the standard of quality, characteristics, and performance requirements meet or exceed the standard of quality, characteristics, and performance requirements identified in the plans and specifications as the basis of design. See Attachment for a complete list of items and manufacturers for all items which have a brand name or equal description.

This is a market research tool being used to determine the availability and adequacy of potential sources prior to determining the method of acquisition and issuance of an award. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this synopsis.

It is requested that interested vendors submit to the contracting office a brief capabilities statement package (no more than 5 pages total) demonstrating the ability to provide the product with the specifications described above. Interested Sources are invited to respond to this Source Sought by completing Attachment 1 – Company Information and providing product technical information and specification sheets.

The Capabilities Statement Package shall not exceed 5 pages and shall ONLY be submitted electronically to Andy Bui, andy.h.bui.civ@us.navy.mil and MUST be limited to a 4MB attachment. You are encouraged to request a read receipt or acknowledgement via reply email. RESPONSES ARE DUE NO LATER THAN TUESDAY, 04 MARCH 2025 AT 2:00 PM EASTERN STANDARD TIME. LATE RESPONSES WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
