Notice of Intent - SagePlus Software

AFTC/PZI (Arnold) at Arnold AFB, TN intends to award a single source, firm-fixed price contract as authorized by FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) to, The Equity Technology Group Incorporated (CAGE: 7XQ56), for SagePlus Software license, meeting the technical requirements specified in, Attachment – Specifications Requirements.pdf. The Government has a need for a quantity of five, 1-year SagePlus software license keys, ensuring annual coverage over a span of five years, utilizing one key per year.

FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) states for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold, Contracting Officers may solicit from one source if the Contracting Officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. The Equity Technology Group Incorporated is the only vendor known to develop SagePlus Software, with the required specifications.

The Equity Technology Group Incorporated holds proprietary technology, or exclusive rights, to develop and manufacture SagePlus software. Market research indicated there are no resellers for the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes.

The Government will consider all electronic responses received by 12:00 PM CT, March 18, 2024. The information received may only be considered to determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement, and the Government reserves the right to request additional information. A determination by the Government to not compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
