The VLF Enterprise Program Office (EPO), part of the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center (AFNWC), will host Industry Days on February 12-13, 2025, to provide interested parties with technical information and solicit feedback on modernized VLF receiver capability requirements. This is in anticipation of an RFP to design, develop, test, certify and produce a modern VLF receiver for multiple USAF systems. The personnel attending should be able to engage in detailed engineering discussions.

The VLF EPO will provide a general understanding of the work, purpose, known challenges, schedule expectations and expected outcomes of this program. Attached is a draft agenda, subject to update based on responses to the RFI posted on SAM.gov (Notice ID NC3). All presentations at this event will be conducted at the SECRET level. The Industry Day will be held at MITRE Headquarters, Rm 2C130, Bedford, MA, 01730. A MITRE welcome package which includes a map is also attached..

Interested attendees must pre-register by e-mail to Matt Daly at: matthew.daly.6@us.af.mil. Please provide the individual’s name, company, CAGE code, phone, and e-mail address. Visit Access Requests (VARs) must be submitted to both AFNWC/NC (DISS: LV1MFMTY-AFNWC/NC-2;

The Government intends to publish a list of attendees to encourage subcontracting opportunities. Registrations will be accepted until 5:00 PM (EST) on January 31, 2025. As part of this Industry Day event, the VLF EPO will schedule one-hour blocks on 13 Feb for one-on-one sessions with industry partners.

These individual sessions will allow for feedback, in depth requirements information, or questions. If interested in scheduling a one-hour one-on-one session for Feb 13th, please notify the POC listed and provide requested time, persons attending, and intent of the session, to include any questions you would like discussed.
