Notice of Intent to Sole Source Struers Units Maintenance

The Commander Fleet Readiness Centers (COMFRC) Procurement Group, PatuxentRiver, MD 20670 hereby gives notice of their intent to award a purchase order toSTRUERS LLC., 24766 DETROIT RD, WESTLAKE, CLEVELAND, OH 44145 (Cage Code:5T799) on a sole source basis in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.106-1(b)(i), only one source reasonably available and no othersupplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.

The COMFRC East, Cherry Point,NC has a requirement for one (1) preventative maintence visit, and one (1) emergency service call "On Call Basis" for seven (7) Struers units. STRUERS LLC, is the only factoryauthorized provider of service and sale for satisfying the Government's specificrequirements. For this reason, the government intends to procure these services on asole source basis from STRUERS, LLC (CAGE Code: 5T799). THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES.

However, all responsible sources maysubmit a capability statement, which, if received within three (3) calendar days afterthe date of the publication of this synopsis, will be considered. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete thisrequirement based upon responses received as a result of this notice is solely withinthe discretion of the Government.
