Intent to Sole Source - Eaker Center Access Control System

The 42nd Contracting Squadron at Maxwell AFB, AL hereby gives NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE to Alabama Controls, Inc. DBA Albireo Energy. BLDG 1110 (Community Library) currently has no Security System Access control system. Currently the building is secured by keys that allow for human error. As the building contains high value equipment, it is imperative that it be secured with an access control system that will tie back to 1404’s existing system for even greater security.

Securing the building and tying it into an existing system gives greater visibility to persons who access the building and allows the mission to continue without worry of bad actors accessing the facility. The installer must be certified under the Schneider Electric EcoStruxure program.
