Intent to Sole Source Notice: Snap-On® GOV Computers and L5 Connect Upgrade Support

Sole Source Special Notice Solicitation for MAARNG DOL SMMO – Snap On Industrial This announcement constitutes a Notice of Solicitation.

The Massachusetts National Guard Director of Logistics Service Maintenance Management Officer (MAARNG DOL SMMO) and Army Aviation Support Facilities (AASF) intend to award a contract to procure and upgrade Services of Snap-On® GOV Computers and L5 Connect Upgrade Support for ATC RFID Toolboxes, as identified, located at Massachusetts Army National Guard (MAARNG) Army Aviation Support Facilities (AASFs) located at Westfield and Joint Base Cape Cod sites.

This is to be accomplished with little to no impact to aircraft maintenance operations. This is a notice of intent that MAARNG is soliciting requirements for a fixed firm price service type purchase order. The proposed contract action for this requirement will be sole source to the following Contractor: IDSC HOLDINGS LLC (d/b/a/ Snap On Industrial)

CAGE Code: 55719 2801 80TH ST KENOSHA, WI 53143-5656 This sole source requirement is pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.301-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This notice is NOT a request for competitive proposals as the Government does not own or possess the facility necessary to facilitate competition for these services. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency.

A determination not to compete this requirement, based on responses to this notice, is solely withing the discretion of the Government. The Government will NOT be responsible for any cost incurred by interested parties in responding to this synopsis. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this notice.

Issue date of the solicitation is 30 May 2024, with response date for receipt of proposal 10 days on 09 June 2024 5:00 PM EST. As this effort is currently considered a sole source requirement; the RFP will NOT be posted to SAM.GOV.
