The NCGC requires a new license for LigandScout software. LigandScout is one of the leading commercial software packages in the field of pharmacophore-based modeling and drug design that meets industrial standards. It includes, structure-based and ligand-based pharmacophore modeling, binding affinity estimation, automated creation of pharmacophores from MD trajectories, automated recognition of ligand-protein interactions, pharmacophore-based ligand clustering, lead discovery, optimization and visualization.

Through recent publication and conference presentations, LigandScout provides most reliable pharmacophore-based analysis for structural data of macromolecule–ligand complexes which across multiple disciplines support successful drug research and development. The software is the most up-to-date package of various modules to support Structure and ligand- based drug discovery. Inte:ligand software is a well-established package of modules for drug discovery and development scientists.

It is a comprehensive suite that can accelerate both lead discovery and lead optimization. It includes a comprehensive set of life sciences related modules that includes chemistry, pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics
