Crane Rental and Operator

Request for Information (For Market Research Purposes Only) Western Area Power Administration (WAPA), Sierra Nevada Region (SNR) is issuing a Request for Information (RFI) to determine the availability of small business firms and other than small business firms that have the capability of providing Crane Rental and Operator service to furnish the equipment and personnel necessary to set 5 (five) tubular steel poles as described in the attached Draft version of the Performance Work Statement (PWS).

Setting heights range from 92 feet to 152 feet. The jobsite is located in Northern California, northeast of Sacramento. Please see the attached Draft PWS for a detailed description of the anticipated requirement. This RFI is for market research purposes only and we are NOT seeking quotes at this time - it does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ), Request for Proposal (RFP), or Invitation for Bid (IFB).

No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information to this RFI or any follow-up information requests. Interested parties having the skills and capabilities of performing the requirement are encouraged to provide feedback via email to Angela Xavier at xavier@WAPA.GOV by the close date. Offeror's name, UEI #, address, point of contact, phone number, and e-mail address. Offeror's Business Size and type of Small Business, if applicable (Small Business, Woman-Owned Small Business, HUBZone, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned and/or 8(a)) Offeror's capability to perform all services in the Draft PWS by providing specific project experience. Each project should be summarized in a paragraph, no more than 7 sentences. Company’s process for QA/QC to ensure products, services, and finished work meets industry standards. No more than 4 pages. Confirmation that your firm/personnel can meet the requirements listed in each of the PWS Sections 1.11, 2.2.1, 2.2.3, 2.2.4, 3, 4, 5, 6.
