AMENDED 4/18/2024: To post a REVISED answer to RFI question no. 12 as follows:

RFI Question 12: [Technology Stack for Program Management] Please provide a detailed description of the technology stack that supports the program management functions within the IR Mod Program?

IRS Response: The program manages approximately 50 epics and 300 user stories (or changes to epics/user stories) annually.

AMENDED 4/17/2024: To post answers to RFI question nos. 11 & 12 as follows:

IRS response: MS Project, Enterprise Lifecycle Management, Sharepoint, MS Teams, MS Office applications RFI Question 12: [Technology Stack for Program Management] Please provide a detailed description of the technology stack that supports the program management functions within the IR Mod Program?

IRS Response: This information is not relevant to this RFI regarding PMO Support.

AMENDED 4/16/2024: To publish IR Mod PM support RFI Questions and Answers. Additionally, this RFI is amended to provide the following clarification regarding the different response due dates listed in SAM.gov and GSA e-buy postings: GSA's posting of the IR MOD PM Support RFI was published today 4/16/2024, therefore, a different response due date was generated for GSA RFI submissions.

Both SAM.gov (response due date of 4/19/2024) and GSA e-buy (response due date of 5/1/2024) postings consist of the same RFI information; nothing is different between the two postings. Therefore, firms can choose to respond to either posting without being excluded from the opportunity to demonstrate their company’s capability.

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has a requirement for Information Returns Modernization (IR Mod) Program Management Support For information purposes, the services described shall be in accordance with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Performance Work Statement entitled 24-IRA-038-OITA IR MOD Program Management Support PWS.docx. The Request for Information will be available April 5, 2024, and will be distributed through GSA e-buy and through the Government Wide Point of Entry (GPE) Sam.gov.

All future information about this Request for Information, will also be distributed through GSA e-buy and through the Government Wide Point of Entry (GPE) Sam.gov. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring both sites to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this Request for Information. The closing date for this Request for Information will be April 19, 2024, 4:00 p.m. EST. All interested parties may submit a response to this Request for Information. Interested parties should use either GSA e-buy or email the Point of Contact to transmit their responses. No telephone requests or written requests will be accepted.
