FOUR (4) HORIZONTAL HARD BEARING DYNAMIC, BELT AND END DRIVE BALANCING MACHINES

DLA-Aviation is issuing this source sought as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support this requirement for Four (4) Horizontal Balancing Machines. In addition to the machines, turnkey services are required as follows:

training, technical data (i.e. manuals, drawings), rigging & installation, and shipping. The four (4) horizontal balances must be compatible with the tooling list in Appendix A of the attached purchase description (PD). The Government’s tooling is from the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) Rhinestahl. No alternate OEM tooling is permissible or substitutable. THIS SOURCES SOUGHT IS FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. Submission Instructions: Interested parties should submit a response to this Sources Sought Notice by closing date listed on this posting. All responses under this Sources Sought Notice must be emailed to avnipemarketresearch@dla.mil with Subject Line: ATTN 24-13-1001A. Responses should be not exceed ten (10) one-sided 8.5 x 10 inch pages with a font that is no smaller than 10 point as this is not a request for a proposal but only a request for submission of a vendor's capability to perform this requirement.

Please include the notice ID number in your submission heading. DLA Aviation intends to issue one request for proposal for a quantity of four (4) Horizontal Balancing Machines. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement no later than the stated closing date/time. DLA Aviation is requesting industry input into the feasibility of the government’s requirements.
