Notice of Intent to Sole Source

The Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity – Healthcare Contracting Division - South intends to award a sole source requirement for GE X-ray tube assembly with installation for the Naval Air Station - Whiting Field, Florida, to GE Healthcare, Inc. (Cage Code:0AY96 ) located at 3350 N Ridge Ave, Arlington Heights, Illinois, 60004 under the authority of FAR Part 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). This notice is neither a request for competitive quotations nor a solicitation of offers.

A determination by the Government to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Interested companies may identify their interest and capability to satisfy the requirement. Responses to this notice should include:

1. Written narrative (not to exceed 1 page) of Contractor’s capability to provide the following:

MFG: GE Healthcare, Inc., Part No. D2302R, MX-100-RAD X-ray Tube, QTY: 1 each MFG: GE Healthcare, Inc., Part No. 5316616, Lead Cup and Retainer Assembly Kit, QTY: 1 each Certified Installation, QTY: 1 each 2. Company Size in relation to the applicable North American Industry Classification System code (NAICS) 334517 - X-ray Tubes Manufacturing; 3. Commercial and Government Entity; 4. The socioeconomic status of the company, i.e., small business concerns, 8(a) business, HUB Zone small business, small disadvantaged business, women-owned small business, veteran- owned small business; and 5. Point of Contact information to include name, email address and telephone number.

Responses to this notice should be emailed to the Contracting Officer, Mr. Marcus Mattingly at marcus.h.mattingly.civ@health.mil. Responses must be received no later than 4:00 P.M. CT on 28 September 2025.
