Updated Sources Sought: The US Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District is seeking sources to provide personnel, materials, supplies, equipment, transportation, supervision and other items and services for the following:

Lower Granite Navlock Electrical Switchgear, Motor Control Centers, and miscellaneous electrical materials. Work shall include, but is not limited to the design, manufacture, and delivery of new navlock electrical switchgear, motor control centers, control panels and provide miscellaneous electrical parts at Lower Granite Lock and Dam. The switchgear shall meet the following salient characteristics: The medium voltage shall be of an Eaton MEF model.

The low voltage switchgear shall be of an Eaton magnum DS low-voltage model. Two 1250kVA, 4160/480V, delta-wye dry-type transformers intended for a dual feed. Dual feed, mechanical interlock 4160V switchgear. Main-tie-main 480V switchgear with the main breakers mechanically interlocked. Shall have an integrated HRG system. Shall be front accessible. 4160V & 480V feeder protective relays Sweitzer Electric Laboratories (SEL relays), controllers, and annunciation.

In addition, the following materials shall be provided: Four Eaton Freedom model motor control center lineups with internal lighting panels and controls. A control panel manufactured by a UL508A accredited panel shop. UL listed 600V rated power cables with sizes ranging from #12 to 750KCMIL. UL listed 600V rated control cables sized #14 ranging from a 2-conductor to a 19-conductor cable. UL listed 5000V, CLX armored low smoke jacketed cable. Rigid metal conduit with sizes ranging from ¾” to 4”.

All locknuts, connectors, etc. shall be provided for all conduit sizes. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 335313 and the associated small business size standard is 1250 employees. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. This sources-sought announcement is a tool to identify businesses with the capability to accomplish the work. Firms who respond to this announcement by submitting the following information will be used in determining whether to set aside this requirement.
