Seeking One-on-One Interviews with Industry

The Government is conducting research to better understand industry interest or non-interest in the Department of Veterans Affairs Southern Oregon Rehabilitation Center and Clinics (SORCC) project in White City, OR. The USACE Portland District is seeking voluntary input in one-to-one meetings with capable construction firms who do not plan to submit a proposal in response to the VA White City SORCC requirement.

The government will ask questions regarding the reasons they are not interested in the requirement and what factors might increase their interest. Firms responding to this announcement will receive questions and be provided a brief teleconference time to provide input. Firms may ask questions; however, USACE will not address the questions until the next industry event so all participants receive the information. This announcement is not a request for proposal and no award will be made as a result of participating in this research.
