Notice of Intent to Sole Source Battery Installation

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE Marine Corps Field Contracting System, Marine Corps Installations East, Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune, NC hereby gives notice of intent to award a sole source contract to Alpine Power Systems Inc., 24355 Capitol, Redford, Michigan, 48239-2466 in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) only one source reasonably available under Urgent and Compelling Need. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES.

A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.

This requirement is for repair and replacement of damaged hardware for Telecommunications Advanced Distribution Node (AND) Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) to support mission essential telecommunications equipment for Marine Corps Installations East, Base Post and Stations. Interested firms may submit information that indicates their ability to satisfy this requirement.
