NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE - Currency Inks

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE – SICPA Securink, Inc. Inks The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) Office of the Chief Procurement Officer (OCPO) on behalf of the Office of Research and Development (R&D) intends to award a Single-Award Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) Firm-Fixed Price contract for Justification and Approval in accordance with FAR subpart 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(A) and (B).

The intended contractor SICPA Securink, Inc. The inks will exhibit a security feature accessible to the public. These inks will be used in the manufacture of U.S. currency and other U.S. security products at the BEP ECF and WCF facilities and for use in test printing related to change management and continuous improvement efforts. Inks must be compatible with BEP screen presses and meet the specialized U.S. Currency Program (USCP) color requirements.

This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive offers/quotes/proposals. A determination not to compete this requirement is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.

Any cost associated with the preparation and submission of data or information, or any other costs incurred in responding to this notice is the sole responsibility of the respondent and will not be reimbursed by the Government.
