WCF Daniel Defense URG Patrol Rifle Replacement

The mission of the Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) is to produce the nation’s currency. The Western Currency Facility (WCF) is a closed, high-security facility – Police Service Branch personnel enforce laws for the protection of persons and property; prevent breaches of the peace; enforce the laws, directives and regulations which govern the BEP; and to protect the nation’s currency, the Bureau’s employees, and its property.

The BEP has issued this Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for the following requirements: Thirty (30) Short Barrel Rifle Custom Upper Receiver Groups for WCF Daniel Defense M-4 Patrol Rifles (Brand Name Justification attached) Five (5) Hinge, Folding Stock Adaptors, PRO Chassis System (Brand Name Justifcation attached) All labor, travel, parts, materials, transportation, equipment, and tools to deliver the requested items The applicable North America Industry Classifcation System (NAICS) code is 332994, Small Arms, Ordnance, and Ordnance Accessories Manufacturing; and the applicable Product Service Code is 3690, Specialized Ammunition and Ordnance Machinery and Related Equipment.

Interested parties shall be registered under the NAICS code on SAM at www.SAM.gov, prior to submitting their quotes. This requirement is a 100% small business set aside. The Government intends to acquire these supplies using the provisions, clauses and procedures prescribed in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Electronic procedures will be used for the Solicitation.

BEP intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) negotiated contract on or about March 15, 2024. All responsible, small business sources may submit a quote in response to this Solicitation, which shall be considered by the agency.
