The Bureau of Engraving and Printing, Fort Worth, TX anticipates awarding SOLE SOURCE procurement to:

Koenig & Bauer Banknote Solutions (K&B). "This will be awarded via Sole Source to K&B. This posting id is for informational purposes only.

THE FOLLOWING SERVICES ARE REQUIRED: THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR BIDS, QUOTES OR PROPOSALS. At this time, no solicitation exists. This notification is being posted for information purposes only. This procurement action is for the acquisition of Super Orlof Intaglio Printing Platform Training, K&B Proprietary. There are no other sources that are capable of providing the training. Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) does not possess the required training certification.

Therefore, the Government has determined that this procurement can only be acquired from the contractor, K&B. BEP intends to sole-source this requirement and award to K&B. The applicable North American Classification Code (NAICS) is 611519, Other Technical and Trade Schools. This Notice of Intent is NOT a request for competitive quotes.

If your company can provide the training mentioned above, please submit a capability statement by 2:00PM CST, 19 August 2024. The decision not to compete this requirement is within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must provide clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government.
