Rigging Boards

THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE – The Department of Treasury, Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP), Office of Chief Procurement, is preparing to issue a Request for Quotes (RFQ) for Rigging Boards.

NAICS: 322299 - All Other Converted Paper Product Manufacturing SOLICITATION: The solicitation is anticipated to be posted on SAM.gov before or on November 19th 2024. This requirement is for the procurement of Rigging Boards (also known as press boards) for the Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP).

Rigging Boards are used as under-packing in press riggings on impression cylinders of high-speed, sheet-fed rotary I-10 and Super Orlof Intaglio (SOI) presses in the printing of United States currency and other security items at the Bureau of Engraving and Printing’s Eastern Currency Facility (DCF) in Washington, DC and the Western Currency Facility (WCF) in Fort Worth, Texas. The anticipated contract type will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA).
