Subject: Sources Sought Notice for Fire Alarm Central Station, Software, and Monitoring Services For: Department of the Air Force, Air Force Test Center (AFTC/PZIOB), Edwards Air Force Base, CA NAICS Code: 561621 – Security Systems Services (except Locksmiths) This is a Sources Sought Notice for market research purposes only. This is not a solicitation for proposals or quotes.

The Department of the Air Force is conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support a requirement for comprehensive technical services, software management, training, and support for the Fire Alarm Central Station at Edwards Air Force Base (EAFB). The Government currently utilizes a specific proprietary system and is seeking to determine if other vendors can meet the Government’s needs as detailed in the attached Draft Statement of Work (SOW).

Your response to this Sources Sought Notice will be treated as information only. It shall not be used as a proposal. This notice is intended to help the Government determine the appropriate acquisition strategy and confirm if alternative solutions are available. Interested parties are requested to provide a capability statement addressing the following questions. Please provide clear and unambiguous responses.

Questions for Industry Does your company have the capability to provide all services described in the attached Draft Statement of Work (SOW)? What is your company's business size and socio-economic status (e.g., Small Business, SDVOSB, WOSB) under the NAICS code 561621? Please provide your Company Name, Address, UEI Number, CAGE Code, and Point of Contact (Name, Title, Phone, and Email). Describe the fire alarm monitoring system/software you propose to meet these requirements.

Is this system proprietary or non-proprietary? (currently utilizes the AES fire alarm radio frequency reporting system) Please provide a detailed explanation of how your proposed system could fully replace the existing proprietary head-end equipment at EAFB. Address the following points: Interoperability with existing field devices. The process for data migration from the current system. The estimated timeline and general approach for a full system replacement.

Confirm that your company can meet all security and badging requirements for providing services on a federal installation as outlined in the SOW.
