information with respect to purchase and install a new fiber optic infrastructure pathway between buildings and new multi-way micro duct installation at Vandenberg SFB, CA. No solicitation is being issued at this time. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) or Invitation for Bid (IFB) and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. Responses will not be considered as proposals, nor will any award be made as a result.

The Air Force will not be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice. The government is seeking to identify qualified, experienced, and interested small businesses capable of performing the type of work as described in “Attachment 1 – DRAFT Performance Work Statement - DRAFT”. The following North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code applies to this request of information: 237130 All Other Specialty Trade Contractors.

The small business size standard for this NAICS code is $45.0M. This project intends to install a new fiber optic infrastructure pathway between building 935 and 945 along with handholes. Also including installation for multi-way micro duct installation of blown-in 48 STR, SM Microfiber cable. The estimated magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The proposed contract would be a firm-fixed-priced contract.
