Notice of Intent to Sole Source- Document Imaging System

This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE Order under FAR Part 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The government intends to award an open market sole source order to Foster and Freeman, USA, Inc, LLC, 20145 Ashbrook Pl, Ashburn, VA 20147 for a Document Imaging System- VSC PDI+ and software to interact with existing VSC-8000 in the Fraudulent Document Analysis Unit (FDAU). There are no authorized resellers of this equipment.

Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals to be used for consideration of future requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and an RFQ will not be issued, however, all proposals received by the closing date and time will be reviewed and used for future requirements.

A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.

Any vendor who wishes to submit a proposal for future consideration should email their company’s capabilities information to the attention of Shana L. Schreiner no later than 12:00 noon EST, August 13, 2024 at shana.l.schreiner@cbp.dhs.gov. ONLY EMAIL RESPONSES WILL BE ACCEPTED.
