TSF Fan Coil Replacement Units (FCUs)

The National Reconnaissance Office has a requirement to replace Fan Coil Units (FCUs) in the south portion of a Cape Canaveral Space Force Station building. The FCUs are at the end of their service life and due for replacement. Additionally, some of the units are difficult to maintain based on their location in the attic space and have been identified as potential safety risks for maintenance personnel.

The scope of this project includes decommissioning certain FCUs and replacing them with Ceiling Cassette Units (CCUs) and others with in-kind FCU replacement. This notice constitutes a formal Pre-solicitation notice for an invitation for Bid (IFB). An ARC account is required to view this IFB on the ARC. Anticipated Schedule: Bidders Walk is on 12 July 2024. Name and information to attend the site visit is due by 8 July 2024, see “Instructions” sheet for more details. Questions due on 19 July 2024 Bids due date is 6 August 2024 Tax Exemption: The successful bidder will be provided a tax exemption letter for material purchases, however, the government makes no claim to the efficacy of that exemption letter or whether vendors or suppliers will honor that exemption. The government will not entertain a request for equitable adjustment or other related claim for taxes if vendors or suppliers do not honor the tax exemption after contract award.
