Intent to Award Sole Source

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE. This Notice is being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Registry (FAR) Part 5.1 and 5.2. This notice of intent to award sole source contract using FAR part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services, under the simplified acquisition threshold. This is not a request for competitive quotes/proposals.

The statutory authority for this notice is 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1) set forth in FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements. Supervisor of Shipbuilding, Conversion and Repair, Groton CT (SSGR) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract to Pavion formerly Integrated Security & Communications located at 48 Capital Drive Wallingford, CT 06492 to provide and install QTY (3) CCTV Cameras into an already existing security system at Quonset Point, RI location.

All responsible sources may submit a capability statement clearly demonstrating the ability to furnish the requested service, before 05:00PM EST 19 AUGUST 2025, which may be considered by the Agency for future procurement. Responses to this notice shall be electronically submitted to Stephanie Brass at stephanie.m.brass.civ@us.navy.mil and Stephanie Neale at stephanie.l.neale.civ@us.navy.mil. The Government will not pay for any information received.

A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This special notice is being issued for informational purposes only. The Justification and Approval for sole source is attached.
