PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTION: Contract modification to increase capacity by $50,000,000 from $75,000,000 to $125,000,000.

PRODUCT SERVICE CODE: Y1KA – Construction of Dams NAICS AND SIZE STANDARD: The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this is effort is 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction. The Small Business size standard is $45 million.

DESCRIPTION: The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Louis District (MVS), has an existing Lock & Dam 24 (LD 24) Pier Rehab Firm-Fixed-Price Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Single Award Task Order Contract (SATOC) No. W912P924D0001 that was awarded to OCCI, Inc. with a capacity of $75M on 19 January 2024. The scope of work requires construction services to complete repairs to seven (7) piers, fifteen (15) Tainter gates (TG), and a service bridge on LD 24. MVS is pursuing the approval of a $50,000,000 Justification and Approval (J&A) for additional repairs necessary due to catastrophic chain failure at TG 14, an allision at TG 9, and additional latent damage only discoverable once work began. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.
