Architect/Engineering services for construction oversight

The U.S. Consulate General in Cape Town seeks qualified Architect/Engineer (A/E) firms to provide third-party construction oversight and quality assurance services for a residential housing development located in the southern suburbs of Cape Town. Services include plan review, on-site inspections, construction monitoring, code compliance verification, and reporting throughout an estimated 24-month construction period. This solicitation is issued under the Short Selection Process as outlined in FAR 36.602-5.

Selection will be based on qualifications only, and cost proposals will be requested from the most highly qualified firm in accordance with the Brooks Act and FAR Subpart 36.6. Interested firms must refer to the attached Request for Qualifications (RFQ) and Statement of Work (SOW) for detailed submission requirements, evaluation criteria, and scope of services.
