Gardening Services

The Embassy of the United States in Guatemala will issue a solicitation for the acquisition of gardening services. This opportunity is subject to 52.229-12 - Tax on Certain Foreign Procurements (FEB 2021) The U.S. Embassy – Guatemala requires gardening services for the maintenance of its garden areas at the new Embassy compound and former Chancery building. Anticipated performance is for one base period and four one-year periods at the option of the Government.

Major duties and responsibilities are to provide gardening services. The contractor shall provide all required labor, personnel, management, materials, and equipment to render the required services. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered. Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date.

The Embassy of the United States in Guatemala will launch the solicitation on Contract Opportunities website when it is available. (www.SAM.gov) All contractors must be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to submitting an offer pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals. Electronic submission/responses: Only electronic offers will be accepted.
