The Embassy of the United States of America invites you to submit a quotes for the restoration of carpets in office buildings located within the American Embassy Compound in Brussels, Belgium. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which will be considered.

Scope of Work*:

Removal: Approximately 225 square meters of existing carpet.

Installation: Approximately 800 square meters of new carpet on floors and stairs Supply and installation of approximately 40 floor outlets Floor preparation and installation of marmoleum on approximately 25 square meters An additional option for the installation of up to 350 square meters of new carpet and approximately 20 floor outlets. *Detailed scope of work to be found in the RFQ.

Site visit: An optional but highly recommended site visit is organised for this RFQ and scheduled for August 9th 2024. Interested offeros may submit the registration form before noon on August 7th 2024. Offer Instructions: Complete the OFFER portion of the Standard Form 1449, including all blank spaces highlighted in yellow, and have the form signed by an authorized representative of your company, or the proposal may be considered unacceptable and may be rejected. SF-1449 Section 1, Pricing Additional information as required in Section 3 Amendment 24Q1068-001 RFQ Contract: The resultant contract will be a firm-fixed-price contract with an option for increased quantity, with no adjustment for any escalation in costs or prices of labor or materials. Each offeror will be responsible for determining the amount of labor and materials that will be required to complete the project, and for pricing its proposal accordingly.

Registration Requirements: All contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) Database (https://www.sam.gov) prior to submitting an offer, pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submission of quotations/proposals.

Electronic Submission/Responses: Your quotation must be submitted electronically to BrusselsBids@state.gov. It is important to make sure the submission is made in specific size and format; Adobe Acrobat (pdf) file format. The file size must not exceed 30MB. If the file size should exceed the 2MB, the submission must be made in separate files and attached to separate emails with less than 2MB each. (ex: first email ending in “part 1 of 3” and last email ending in "part 3 of 3”)
