Notice to Anti-Ram Barrier Manufacturers

This is a special notice for Anti-Ram Barrier Manufacturers due to an increase in misleading certification ratings verbiage on manufacturer websites and promotional literature.

Any manufacturer who still manufactures active anti-ram barrier(s) and intends for their previously approved barrier(s) to remain on the Approved List must contact DS/PSD/RD before April 30, 2024 in writing with the following information: a) clearly state which barrier(s) the manufacturer wishes to remain on the Approved List along with their model number(s) and min./max. dimensions, b) best manufacturer Points of Contact (POCs) information including email address(es) and cell number(s) of the best POC, and c) a mailing address including the complete company name.

A phone call is not sufficient to meet this requirement. A lack of response will be interpreted as the manufacturer’s intent for their barrier(s) to be removed from the Approved List.
