Unify Communications Maintenance Notice of Intent

The 5th Contracting Squadron (5 CONS) in Minot Air Force Base, ND, intends to award a single source purchase order to provide maintenance and repair services for the Unify telephone system located in the Minot Command Post primary and alternate facilities. There is currenlty only one Vendor known of having all Unify Certification (INemsoft radio gateway, OpenScape Voice, Xpert, VMware and ASC voice recording) and DOD IT Secret clearance required by the DOD.

Since there are no other certified Vendors with the required DoD clearance, 5 CONS intends to award a single source purchase order the the Vendor that can fulfill this requirement. This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2) & 13.106-1(b). The anticipated award date is after 15 August 2024. Please note that this is not a request for competitive proposals.

However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide a Maintenance Contract for the Primary and Alternate Command Post (Siemens OpenScape Voice V9 system). The deadline date for the submittals is 15 August 2024 at 11 am Central Standard Time. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
