NOI to sole source batteries

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to negotiate a one-time, sole source, firm fixed price contract with Bren-Tronics Defense LLC, Address: 10 Brayton CT Commack, NY 11725 for the purpose of acquiring more rechargeable batteries. The FBI possesses battery chargers manufactured by Bren-Tronics Defense LLC. These batteries are used interchangeably across agencies in the field, and the ability to coordinate with partners is considered essential.

These are direct replacement parts for existing equipment, which integrate with other current equipment, and are considered a critical component in completing the mission. These batteries are proprietary to Bren-Tronics Defense LLC, and they are the only manufacturer and distributer of these parts The Government intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1.
