The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) requests maintenance, repair and overhaul support of FBI-owned L3 Harris WESCAM imaging equipment. This is a sources sought notice and request for information (RFI).

This is not a formal solicitation. Any formal solicitation will be announced separately at a later time. Information provided to the Government as a result of this posting is strictly voluntary and given with no expectation of compensation, and clearly provided at no cost to the Government. Contact with Government personnel, other than the Contract Specialist or Contracting Officer, by potential offeror or their employees regarding this requirement is strictly prohibited.

The purpose of posting this RFI is to locate experienced service providers capable of providing maintenance, repair and overhaul support of FBI-owned L3 Harris WESCAM imaging equipment. The summary is as follows:

The contractor will provide maintenance, repair and overhaul with consistent uninterrupted technical support for the L3Harris WESCAM MX-10, MX-15, and MX-20 Air-Surveillance and Reconnaissance imaging systems currently installed on the FBI’s aviation fleet of aircrafts.

The contractor is requested to provide commercially available Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and Federal Communication Commission (FCC) approved parts, supplies, and support and must meet compliance as mandated by FAR contained in Title 14 CFR Part 21 and FCC contained in Title 47 CFR Part 15. See Statement of Work for additional information. The anticipated contract type will be firm fixed price. The FBI is interested in obtaining information from industry.

Both large business concerns and all categories of small business are encouraged to respond to this request. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code anticipated for this requirement is 334511 Search, Detection, Navigation, Guidance, Aeronautical, and Nautical System and Instrument Manufacturing and small business size standard in number of employees for the selected NAICS is 1,350 employees Vendors shall address the following 3 components within their submittal:

Requirements/Scope: See Attached Statement of Work dtd 6 Feb 2025 Please ensure your response covers, at a minimum, capabilities for all requirements called out in the description.
