The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, located in Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to solicit for the provision of Solid Waste and Recycling Removal Services for the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Danbury located at 33-1/2 Pembroke Rd., Route 37, Danbury, CT 06811. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit prices.
The contract period will consist of a base period from date of award through 12 months, and 4 one-year option periods for renewal, at the discretion of the government. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) Code is 562111 – Solid Waste Collection, (Size Standard of $47 million). This solicitation is a small business set aside. Required services must be provided by the Contractor in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW), which will be available at the time of solicitation.
The solicitation will be made available on or about September 12, 2024, and will be distributed solely through the website at www.sam.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available.
