AFTER EVALUATING THE SUBMITTED OFFERS, IT WAS DETERMINED THERE WERE NOT ENOUGH VIABLE SMALL BUSINESS QUOTES UNDER NAICS CODE 423720. THEREFORE, THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE RE-OPENED UNTIL 5/12/2026 AND WILL BE "UNRESTRICTED" TO BOTH LARGE AND SMALL BUSINESSES WITH NO RESTRICTION ON THE NAICS CODE REQUIREMENT. IF YOU PREVIOUSLY SUBMITED A QUOTE, IT WILL BE CONSIDERED UNDER THIS AMENDMENT AND NO FURTHER ACTION IS REQUIRED, UNLESS YOU WISH TO PROVIDE AN UPDATED QUOTE. THANK YOU The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Complex Hazelton, West Virginia, intends to issue a solicitation for the requirements of:

REPLACE FCI HOT WATER BOILERS PROJECT- 26Z1AR4, as prescribed in FAR subpart 12.6 under NAICS Code 423740. This solicitation is restricted to 100% Small Business, FOB Destination, delivery date is ASAP UP TO 60 DAYS ARO. Deliveries will be made to the Federal Correctional Complex Warehouse, 1640 Skyview Drive, Bruceton Mills, WV 26525. The contract type is a firm-fixed price. The Government reserves the right upon award to make formal single, multiple awards or no awards.

The Government will award to the responsible offeror(s) whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, which is considered to be most advantageous to the Government, with past performance, delivery schedule and price considered. Evaluation factors as prescribed by 52.212-2 will be applied for determination of winning bid. The solicitation will be made available on or about April 1, 2026, and will be posted to the General Services Administration’s Federal Business Opportunities website: https://sam.gov/.

All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this solicitation. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is April 21, 2026, at 12:00 pm. EST. A signed SF 1449, including vendor information, must be submitted to be considered a viable quote. Payment will be made using Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT).

Each offer is required per 52.212-3 to complete their representations and certifications via the On-line Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA).
