FY 25 FCC BUTNER LINAC, ARIA, AND ECLIPSE

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Medical Center(FMC) Butner, NC intends to award a sole source contract under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and the authority of FAR Part 13.501(a)(1), as there is only one source, to Varian Medical Systems, Inc, 3100 Hansen Way, Palo Alto, CA 94304-1038. This award will be for the service agreement for Clinac HE- H271473 and the Aria and Eclipse Software.

To the best of our knowledge, this requirement can only be met through Varian Medical Systems, Inc. This justification is not a request for competitive quotations as no solicitation document is available. Other vendors who believe they can meet the above requirements may provide written notification to the Contracting Officer by the closing of this justification.

Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability of the vendor to supply services that will comply with the requirements in a satisfactory manner. Responses received will be evaluated, however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.

Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. Interested firms must provide a Capability Statement with the following information: Company Name, Address, Point Of Contact, Telephone and Fax Number, Email Address, Business Size, and UEID.

If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the sole source procurement to Varian Medical Systems, Inc. Responses may be emailed to bmckeown@bop.gov and jx2hayes@bop.gov by the deadline of this justification. All vendors are hereby notified if your response is not received by the date and time specified in this notice, it will not be considered.
