This contract is to replace the original Guard Booth utilized by laboratory security at the National Laboratory Center in Beltsville MD. The existing Guard Booth has reached its life expectancy and is beyond reasonable repair. The National Laboratory Center has one entrance that utilizes the Guard Booth and serves as the first line of defense to keep the ATF staff, patrons and assets safeguarded. The booth is manned 24 hours and day, 365 days a year.

The booth provides ballistic protections as well as creature comforts such as warmth and cooling via a mini split HVAC system while sheltering the guards from the outside elements. The booth is also equipped with a firearms and locking stand, first aid, phone, data and controls for the front gate and emergency barricade ramps.
