CRWUA AUDIO/VISUAL AND LIGHT REFRESHMENT

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE NOTICE OF INTENT to Sole Source Requirement for audio visual rental/services and light refreshments for the 2024 Colorado River Water Users Association (CRWUA) Conference at Paris Las Vegas located in Las Vegas, NV RFQ No. 140R3025Q0006 This solicitation is being advertised as a noncompetitive sole source solicitation as provided under FAR 13 and 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.

The Department of the Interior, Bureau of Reclamation, Interior Region 8: Lower Colorado Basin, has a requirement for the rental of meeting rooms, audio visual rental/services, and light refreshments for the 2024 Colorado River Water Users Association (CRWUA) Conference at Paris Las Vegas located in Las Vegas, NV.

IAW FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(ii), specific characteristics of the service required that limit the availability to a sole source are that the CRWUA conference is planned and coordinated by the Las Vegas Valley Water District (LVVWD) & Southern Nevada Water Authority (SNWA), without any Reclamation involvement. LVVWD and SNWA have released rooms to Reclamation from Paris Las Vegas for use during the conference.

Since the conference venue was booked by another party, Reclamation can only award this requirement to one company, Caesars¿ Palace, LLC. The NAICS for this action is 531120, Lessors of Nonresidential Buildings (except Miniwarehouses) and the small business size standard is $34.0 million. Award is anticipated to be on November 26, 2024, 2024, with services beginning on December 3, 2024 and ending on December 6, 2024. The resulting contract will be a Firm Fixed Price type purchase order.

All capable and responsible sources may submit a capability statement, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. All documents submitted must contain an explanation and evidence as to how your company would be able to perform these services. Submissions are due by November 25, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. PST.

The purchase order award information and the Determination to Solicit from a Single Source for using noncompetitive procedures will be posted on the SAM.gov website at https://sam.gov/content/home within 30 days after award.
