NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE Notice of intent to award a sole source contract to Johnson Controls (JCI), 507 E Michigan ST, Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53202-5202, United States. JCI will provide hardware/software upgrades to the existing system at the National Park Service Western Arctic Parklands. (See General Description below). Under authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii).

The value of the contract is expected to be $56,103.00, JCI Communication is a large business under NAICS 238220. Western Arctic Parklands requires the hardware/software upgrades to the existing system to maintain the functionality of the present system. The purchase from this vendor because they own and maintain the current systema and do not contract to third party vendors for work on this system. This Notice of Intent is not a request for Expressions of Interest (EOIs), proposals or quotations.

No solicitation document exists and no telephone inquiries will be accepted. No contract award will be made on the basis of EOIs, proposals or quotations received in response to this notice. This purchase order will be procured under Firm Fixed Price Supply in accordance with FAR 12 procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized under FAR 6.302-1.
