This project includes the site-adapted design, construction, demolition, and supervision to replace existing modular housing units at the Cape Hatteras Island District housing area with commercial off-the-shelf modular housing units or an equivalent pre-designed conventional housing. Utilities (water and electric) are already in place for connection and new housing units will tie into the existing septic system. The new housing units will include three and four bedrooms each with two bathrooms each. Two housing units must be ABA compliant. All units will be equipped with a residential fire suppression system to meet current safety codes.
